According to law enforcement, the crash took place shortly after noon at the intersection of Tropicana Avenue and Nellis Boulevard. Police said the motorcyclist was traveling westbound on Tropicana when he collided with the RTC bus, which was making a left turn onto Nellis.

The impact of the crash sent the motorcyclist flying from his bike. He was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics. The driver of the RTC bus was not injured.
