Ireland to welcome prestigious event for second time

County Limerick venue to stage tournament in 2027

The Ryder Cup will return to Ireland in 2027 when Adare Manor in County Limerick hosts the biennial contest between Europe and the United States.

The prestigious event was last held in Ireland at The K Club in County Kildare in 2006, when Europe emerged victorious.

Adare Manor, which has previously hosted the Irish Open, is set to become the first venue in Ireland to host the Ryder Cup twice.

The 2027 Ryder Cup will be the 45th edition of the tournament, which is one of the most prestigious events in golf.

The competition is contested every two years, with the United States and Europe taking turns to host the event.

The United States will host the 2025 Ryder Cup at Bethpage Black in New York, while the 2029 edition will be held at Hazeltine National in Minnesota.
